Monkey Spleen, Cynomolgus MicroRNA (<200nt) is enriched from total RNA extracted from freshly harvested tissues using classical guanidine isothiocyanate–phenol:chloroform extraction method and treated with DNase to remove residual DNA contamination. The small RNAs include regulatory RNA molecules such as microRNA (miRNA) and short interfering RNA (siRNA), as well as tRNA and 5S rRNA, precisely quantified, and stored at -80oC.
Quality Control: The integrity of each RNA sample is verified by denatured agarose gel electrophoresis to confirm that each preparation contains intact microRNA with virtually no large RNA contamination. The purity of RNA is assessed by spectrophotometer (A260/A280: 1.9-2.1).
Applications: MicroRNA is ideal for miRNA, siRNA, shRNA, and snRNA analysis by real time PCR, RT-PCR analysis, bioanalyzer, Northern Blot analysis, RNase protections assay, primer extension, and expression standard in microarray applications.
Packing/shipping: Total RNA sample is routinely provided in RNase-free water at a concentration of 0.25mg/ml or 0.5mg/ml and shipped on dry ice. Sample can also be provided in 1mM sodium citrate, 0.1 mM EDTA, or any other RNA storage buffer. Samples are shipped on dry ice.
